Financial literacy as a factor in the saving behavior of households

The article deals with modern conceptual approaches to the analysis of the formation of household saving strategies. It also reviews a set of determinants that affect the household savings' level and dynamics. The work demonstrates how saving behavior of individuals functionally depends on their financial literacy. In addition, the paper provides some evidence of how financial literacy stimulates and shapes the character of the investment dynamics in the economy
