World experience of emerging of the creative economy and the opportunities of its use in Russia

The most important part of modernization strategy of the economy on the modern stage is transition from resource development to creative, Russia's transformation into a technologically dynamic country, capable to develop, produce and use high technologies, innovations for large-scale production of competitive goods and services. The article examines the concept of the «creative economy», its main characteristics and principles. The conclusion presents the main directions of emerging and development of creative economy in general and industries in particular.
