Activity of higher education institutes for attraction, training and adaptation of foreign students (on example of the Southern Federal University)

This article examines the role of higher education institutions for the development of export of educational services, as well as in recruitment, training and adaptation of foreign students on the example of the Southern Federal University (SFU). Also quantitative and qualitative characteristics of activity of the university, connected with attraction and training of foreign pupils from 2007 to 2012 are analyzed. There are results of the sociological poll which has been carried out by authors in 2012 among foreign students which study in SFU. The analysis of results of sociological research allows to study formation of streams of educational migration, and also the condition of adaptation and integration of foreign students into SFU and the Rostov region. In the course of the research the measures aimed at developing the export of educational services at SFU were designed.
