The relationship between health-demographics and socio-economic situation in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania

The article presents a study of medical and demographic processes in the region. The reasons of public health crisis. A relationship between the factors that characterize the socio-economic situation in the region is: mortality, life expectancy, level of gross regional product. Examined the economic and human resources of the region. The article shows that the increase in life expectancy of the working population with fixed effects will yield a reasonable option of increasing the gross regional product. Analyzed the level of the health system in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (North Ossetia-Alania). The measures aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of health care.
