Multi-national companies on the global market and the policy of «new protectionism»

Foreign investments allow multi-national companies (Multinational Corporation) to diversify their assets, but have made their dependent on foreign markets fluctuations which was demonstrated during the global economic crisis when the crash of American mortgage lending market has caused falling of other markets. The author considers the concept of “new protectionism” as a provision of economic security which major element acknowledges special national-state interests and a country’s purpose.
