This article examines the process of economic zoning of a territory in the context of spatially distributed placement of innovative and technologically related assets as a development factor of regional socio-economic system. Today, in some regions, an integral concept of spatial zoning is formed which is based on the existing practices and innovative management techniques. The paper examines the project of building the industrial park for agricultural use in Matveyev Kurgan district of Rostov region.
