Against the background trend of increased competition between the territories of the need for increased innovation-based economic development in the region based on the marketing area. The paper considers the problem of effective marketing activities within the territory, including the possibility of marketing system, «Regional Marketing Center», features a single network space formation and development of special economic zones in Russia, the prospects for the creation of technology parks and incubators in the field of high technologies, the possibility of interactive information system Web-portal.
