Russia’s Food Security Doctrine: experts’ opinion

The Doctrine of food security is adopted in Russia in 2010. Doctrine forms the space of possibilities, which will rebuild strategy specific participants of the markets of raw material producers, processors, exporters, importers. And consumers will live in these realities. The Doctrine defines the content of the term “food security”. It consists of three elements: the share of food of domestic production, its quality and affordability. Let’s try to understand whether changes the agrarian policy of the country in connection with the adoption of the food security Doctrine. To reveal it we interviewed experts, businessmen, agrarian politicians, and scientists. Experts believe that the main drawback of this documents — declarative character, the lack of mechanisms for implementation.
