Region banks: functioning and development

In modern conditions of regional banking has assumed special economic importance due to the need to adapt to the banks strategy for social- economic development of regions. Banks, as a kind of filter redistributes cash flows in economy, perform a special role in addressing economic recovery. Regional indicators of banking activity and concentration of banking capital largely determine prospects for the development of regional economy, creating conditions for investment activity and improve living standards. The present article deals with the role of regional banking systems in the economic development of the country. Identify existing problems of development and operation of modern regional banking systems. Measures for their effective functioning are offered.
