Resaerch of the availability of the technical analysis methods on the example of historical data the MICEX index

Technical analysis is a widely used approach to the analysis of the dynamics of financial markets. However, it is not recognized by many academics and practitioners, because the methods of technical analysis is not scientifically justified. In this article the author makes an attempt to explore the viability of the methods of technical analysis. The study author concluded that the use of technical analysis methods can be very effective under certain conditions.
